WP Smarto ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely with encryption) when you register.
• Subscription information: name and email address when you sign up for launch or update notifications.
• Support chats: your messages, the page you were on, your IP address and your approximate country, so we can help you and stop misuse of the chat. These stay with the conversation until it is deleted.
• Usage data: downloads, and, if you accept analytics cookies, pages visited and interactions with our site, to improve our products.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our plugins, themes, and templates.
• Send you updates, launch announcements, and product news you have opted into.
• Process downloads and manage your account.
• Respond to your support requests.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use secure connections (HTTPS) across our site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for analytics, email delivery, and payment processing. If you accept analytics cookies, Google and Microsoft receive data about your visit, which may be processed outside your country, under Google's Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Payments are processed by our reseller Polar (polar.sh), which receives your name, email address and payment details when you buy, under Polar's Privacy Policy. These services may collect information subject to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We work out the approximate country of a support chat on our own server, using GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, so your IP address is not sent to anyone for this. It is also not shared with the AI that answers the chat.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
